I love this intro to an episode of the “no longer with us” TV series Touch that starred Keifer Sutherland. For me, it explains a great deal as to what’s going on behind many of our stories such as the one told in the Steve Date film THE LETTER. The ties with my father and son cannot be broken. I truly believe this.

If two points are destined to touch,
The Universe will always find a way to make the connection,
Even when all hope seems lost.
Certain ties cannot be broken.
They define who we are,
And who we can become.
Across space, across time,
Across paths we cannot predict.
Nature always finds a way.
–From the T.V. Series Touch, episode Zone of Exclusion (initial air date May 3, 2012)
